This Hyundai Tussan equipment costs 3.34 million rubles; it is available only in an all-wheel drive version with a 2-liter 186-horsepower diesel turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Rails and a heated windshield are present here by default. It is also worth noting the availability of Bluelink telematics options.

Lifestyle Plus

The improved version of the previous configuration costs 3.56 million rubles. These cars have all-wheel drive and are additionally equipped with LED lights, an electric luggage compartment (as well as the function of its contactless opening), tinted windows, and silver inserts on the bumpers. There are also chrome elements in the interior, and the driver’s seat has more flexible adjustment options.

Visioner

The maximum modification of the Hyundai Tucson 2023 will cost the buyer from 3.78 to 3.88 million rubles. This is an all-wheel drive car that is available with either a 186-horsepower two-liter diesel engine or a 190-horsepower 2.5-liter gasoline engine. Both versions work with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Visioner package additionally has a panoramic roof with an adjustable sunroof, electric drive and ventilation of the front row of seats, advanced security systems, navigation, surveillance cameras, and other improvements.

Body design

The radiator grille and LED running lights located in the front of the body are combined into a common composition. The headlight units are located in recesses in the bumper and look like standard fog lights. A wave-shaped air intake runs along the lower edge of the bumper, limited at the bottom by a silver plastic trim. 8 colors are available for the Russian market; painting the roof in a contrasting shade is not provided.

The wheel arches on the IV generation Hyundai Tucson have a chopped shape and massive plastic linings. Similar shields are used on the doors, which cover the body sills and protect passengers’ clothing from contamination. The sharp lines of the plastic trim allowed the elements to harmoniously fit into the overall style of the body. For IV generation cars, alloy wheels with a diameter of 17, 18 or 19″ are available (depending on the configuration).

On the side of the body of the IV generation Hyundai Tucson there is a pronounced line located above the handles. The side glazing flows into a rear triangular element with a lower edge that slopes sharply upward. There is a massive spoiler on the trunk lid to protect the rear from dirt. The lighting equipment is divided into 2 parts connected by a horizontal line. The bumper has decorative elements with a faceted surface and a developed diffuser that directs the polluted air flow from under the bottom of the body upward.

Power units

For the Russian version of Tussan there are 3 options engines and gearboxes, but they are distributed unevenly (the number in the index indicates the approximate engine size):

  1. G2.0 (150 hp) can be combined with two types of 6-speed gearboxes: manual and automatic. Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
  2. G2.5 (190 hp) is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. All wheel drive only
  3. D2.0 (186 hp) similar, only with automatic transmission8. The drive is also only four-wheel drive.

The first two are naturally aspirated petrol engines and are relatively well known in Russia. The two-liter, although considered new, is actually a modernization of the problematic predecessor of a similar volume. The first impression from the list of completed works is rather skeptical, “we fix one thing, we break another,” but practice will tell.

The 2.5-liter is known from the Kia K5 and it also cannot be called a model of reliability, except that due to lower loads there are fewer problems with it. Interestingly, 92nd gasoline is now officially considered recommended.

The cutest of the three is the diesel. It was actually developed almost “from scratch”, and it was simplified for Russia and the CIS by eliminating the exhaust gas neutralization system required in a number of countries for Euro-6 standards.

Surely this will have a beneficial effect on reliability and, undoubtedly, on the driver’s nerves, saving him from constantly popping up errors due to the quality of AdBlue on cars with a urea neutralization system.

But its main advantage is the combination of very good dynamics and decent efficiency. There is nothing to say about reliability, the engines still have low mileage, but in Europe, where diesel appeared earlier, no critical problems with it have yet been noticed.

Unfortunately, the option that is optimal for many, a diesel engine and a manual transmission, is not included in the configurations of the new Hyundai Tussan.
